I was over twenty minutes into this video before I realized it was selling something – and that is one reason why I make time to see what Jon has to say.
I sincerely consider him the blogger who writes the best copy I read anywhere so I always know I will learn something from what he writes or says on a video.
Like a previous commenter, I am going to click the learn more button. I’ve been online for so long that I rarely buy anything any more because most ebooks and even membership sites are long on WHAT we need to do but weak on HOW to actually do it.
I will be checking to see how well Teaching Sells delivers on the HOW.

All I can say is that god things don’t come easy or cheap, am slowly learning to go with the flow, and building a firm foundation, because I know soon my time is coming, thanks Jon for your insightful advice, you are a very persuasive marketer!!

I am armpit-deep in module one of Teaching Sells, and I love it. I already see that it’s going to change everything for me. You and Copyblogger – you never disappoint.
Jon, Great content here. I would like to point out that you can “put a gun to your head” with an ebook too. I’ve written several in my niche, most selling for $75. The way I keep myself to a deadline is by writing an outline and some of the copy (so I prove to myself that I actually have the content in me!), then I build a sales page and sell it at a discount for everyone who pre-orders. Then I know I have to produce it by the deadline, because I’ve already been paid for it.

Great video! I had never thought of offering consulting first, before offering a product.
You also hit the mark on motivation. It’s hard to keep going when you aren’t seeing results, but that first sale or commission sure feels good.
